Dear Friends,
Buried deep in the Gaza Peace Proposal is the following paragraph:
An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence to try and change mind-sets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing the benefits that can be derived from peace.
We pray for this initiative! Muslims, Jews and Christians share an abiding commitment to peace, and each Abrahamic faith has a clear commitment to tolerance, and loving “the other,” the stranger in our midst. We believe building bridges of trust and relationships across these three faiths will develop allyship and a shared purpose of peace making.
We continue our work to generate relationships and collaboration among the peoples of the Abrahamic faiths in the United States through our Interfaith Bridges™ programs. Here are some of our recent activities:
· In September we traveled to Washington, DC, where we attended the opening ceremonies for the 20th Annual Unity Walk sponsored by the Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington. While in the neighborhood, we visited the Washington National Cathedral and were inspired by the Space Window. We also made many connections with clergy and interfaith professionals excited about offering Interfaith Bridges programs.
· Our intern Jessica Gapfizi has completed her work developing market research to identify faith communities in several key regions across the United States; her results are incorporated in our new CRM system and will help us with effective marketing efforts.
· We have generated leads for our Interfaith Bridges™ – University Edition program with several colleges and universities.
· A tri-faith Interfaith Bridges program in the Bay Area is launching in early 2026; the facilitators received Program Resources and training in September. A synagogue, church and mosque in Ventura County have agreed to offer a tri-faith Interfaith Bridges program and are now recruiting facilitators for a 2026 start.
We are developing our strategic budget for 2026 and looking for donations and grants to expand our work offering our program to colleges and universities and faith communities across the United States.
You can help us! We need ongoing funding from donors like you to support this important work! If you would like to help us continue our outreach and bridge building, please make a donation at our website, or send a check payable to Building Bridges Together, 405 El Camino Real, Suite 433, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Thank you for your prayers and continuing support!
Shalom,
Diane and Bob Frankle
